Renewals & Physician Transfers

Medical Marijuana Card Renewal

Your Florida medical marijuana physician certification must be renewed every 210 days (approximately 7 months). Your patient ID card is renewed annually through the OMMU. Our office tracks both dates and will contact you when renewals are due.

Per Florida House Bill 387, renewal appointments for existing patients may be completed via telehealth — you don't need to visit our office in person. We'll let you know when your renewal can be completed remotely.

Transfer from Another Physician

If you're currently certified by another Florida medical marijuana doctor and want to transfer to Canna Clinic MD, the process is straightforward. You'll need an in-person evaluation with Dr. Stratt — Florida law requires this for all physician transfers.

Bring your original signed physician recommendation (not a copy) dated within 30 days, your Florida ID, and your medical documentation. Dr. Stratt can submit your new certification to the state registry the same day as your evaluation.
